Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. The College has a vacancy for a part-time Laboratory Technician. This is a Level 3 school officer position (starting rate of $34.17 per hour). This position is 2 days per week during school terms, commencing with us in January, 2027.
The Laboratory Technician works under the general supervision of the Lab Manager and Curriculum Leader – Science and Engineering to provide support to Science and Engineering Faculty.
The ideal applicant would demonstrate:

- Excellent attention to detail and initiative;
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment
Typical duties will include:
- Ensuring the effective operation of the laboratory
- Maintenance of resources and equipment
- Assisting with safety and compliance
