You’ll lead concept and detailed design, provide design assurance and final reviews, guide stormwater strategy and modelling, and oversee project budgets, cost estimates and specialist consultants. You’ll also help shape Council’s design standards, technical specifications and future engineering practices.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

- Support asset management planning processes and improvement plan initiatives.
- Update and maintain Council’s standard drawings and technical specifications.
About You:
This position requires a tertiary qualified applicant in Civil Engineering (or similar technical field) with advanced knowledge of stormwater, roads, footpath, drainage, traffic control devices, civil construction techniques, Australian design standards, guides and technical codes. It is expected that you will have highly developed interpersonal skills, possess a working knowledge of project management principles and be familiar with AutoCAD drafting software packages including Open Roads Designer, Drains, and eWater MUSIC.
