We are partnering with a well-known South Australian organisation to find a Receptionist for an initial two-month contract in Wayville. Based in a corporate office, you will help set the tone for everyone who walks through the door or picks up the phone. Alongside looking after reception, you will provide light administration support and lend a hand across the organisation wherever needed.

So, what’s the role?

  • Welcoming visitors and letting the relevant team members know they’ve arrived
  • Answering calls, assisting with enquiries and directing them to the right person
  • Keeping reception organised and ready for visitors
  • Helping with data entry, correspondence and general administration
  • Picking up additional tasks to support the wider team

What are we looking for?

  • You’ve worked in reception before, or bring extensive administration or customer service experience and are comfortable being the first point of contact.
  • You’ll enjoy interacting with people, know how to make someone feel welcome and bring a professional approach to both face-to-face and phone conversations.
  • Just as importantly, you’re happy to get involved whether that’s managing an enquiry or helping a colleague with something outside your usual routine.
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Good organisation and the ability to keep track of competing requests
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel, and confidence picking up new systems
  • A flexible, practical approach to supporting a team
  • Availability to start ASAP and commit to 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday, for the initial two months

What’s in it for you?

  • Shorter working days: a consistent 9am-3pm schedule, Monday to Friday
  • A recognised SA organisation: an opportunity to put your reception and administration skills to work in a corporate environment
  • Variety and connection: a role where you’ll interact with visitors, callers and colleagues across the business

If you’re available to start ASAP and enjoy being the person others can turn to for help, we’d love to hear from you.
