Our client, a mission-critical commissioning and analytics organization, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team.

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Business Support and Administrative organization supporting Nexus systems and analytics workflows.

The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI and analytics development skills, the ability to translate business and field needs into clear system requirements, and the drive to coordinate user testing and release readiness in a fast-moving environment.

Pay Range: $37/hr to $40/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Support Nexus governance and steering activities by preparing materials, engaging Champions, following up on stakeholder actions, and tracking outcomes to completion.
  • Own the intake-to-requirements flow for Nexus improvements: triage incoming requests, prioritize work, maintain status visibility, and translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate user testing and release readiness, including test scenario planning, regional tester coordination, defect tracking, retesting support, and training preparation to drive adoption.
  • Partner with Cx, regional leads, Construction Quality, and engineering teams to confirm Nexus workflows reflect real commissioning processes (issues, NCRs, audits, ITPs, turnover, closeout, and commissioning readiness).
  • Improve data quality and reporting reliability by performing business‐side database cleanup, enforcing consistent field usage and taxonomy alignment, reviewing duplicates/legacy data, and escalating structural data issues.

What's Needed?

  • Power BI and analytics development experience, including the ability to build dashboards, define metrics/KPIs, validate data, and turn operational data into clear business insights.
  • Working knowledge of mission‐critical commissioning processes, especially in data centers or similarly complex infrastructure environments, including how work is planned, tracked, validated, and reported across stakeholders.
  • Business systems and requirements translation capability: gather stakeholder needs, document business/system/reporting requirements, define workflows, and support UAT with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Experience supporting reporting outputs and data quality activities (including KPI definitions, QA checks, and escalation of data structure gaps) to keep dashboards and leadership reporting trusted.

What's in it for me?

  • Work at the intersection of commissioning operations, business systems, and analytics—where your requirements and data quality improvements directly strengthen how teams track and govern delivery.
  • Influence both the underlying workflows and the reporting leadership relies on by helping teams move from manual updates to scalable, trusted dashboards.
  • Build a reputation for clarity and execution by turning field feedback into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and release-ready testing plans.
  • Strengthen organizational decision‐making by improving Nexus data quality so Power BI dashboards and regional readiness views remain accurate and usable.
  • Collaborate across Cx, regional teams, Construction Quality and engineering partners to ensure Nexus supports real‐world commissioning activities.
