Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for stable, ongoing work with a leading transport and logistics operation? We are seeking motivated and safety-focused individuals to join a busy freight team based in Acacia Ridge. Pay Rates:
- Day Shift: $37.00 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: $42.18 per hour
Shifts Available (Monday to Friday):
- 3:00am - 11:00am
- 5:00am - 1:00pm
- 11:00am - 8:00pm
- 1:00pm - 8:00pm
About the Role:
- Loading and unloading trailers and containers
- Safely moving and storing freight throughout the warehouse
- Picking and compiling orders using RF scanners
- Organising, sorting, and staging freight for dispatch
- Strapping and unstrapping loads
- Pulling tarps and curtains on vehicles when required
- Following site safety procedures and operational requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years' forklift operating experience
- Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, freight, or transport environment
- Experience using RF scanners
- Strong awareness and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transport and excellent punctuality
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physical capability to perform manual handling duties when required
