Mandez Food Systems located in Narangba Qld is seeking a person to join our team. We are offering a role working Tuesday to Friday in our growing business (38 hours working 4 x 10 hour days Tuesday to Friday 6am-4pm). The successful person will require a high attention to detail, ability to accurately record data and a degree of manual lifting/handling.
The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will have a varied role which includes, down packing product, batching, stock rotation, labelling and paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Down pack from bulk stock to required sizes
- Assist with the unit manufacturing including, batching, mixing, blending and packing raw (dry) materials.
- Inspect items for damage and use-by dates prior to delivery to ensure quality of service.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
- Stock control including rotation of stock and assist in stock control of raw material liaising with Team Leader.
- Prioritise tasks by working closely with Team Leader.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and work area neat.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Any other miscellaneous duties as required.
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous Experience in similar role – Food Ingredients or Additives will be well regarded together with an understanding of HACCP based Food Safety Protocols.
- Basic knowledge excel/word will also be well regarded.
- Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Ability to accurately record data and understand instructions.
- Must be physically fit - able to lift up to 25kgs -required
