Our Digital Bank team is at the forefront of revolutionising the banking experience for millions of customers. Our engineers work in an autonomous environment, continuously learning and mastering their craft to deliver innovative solutions.
As an Engineering Manager, you will own the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the team owned product and platforms. You will also own the hiring, retention, growth, and development of an engineering team that meets the needs of the business and works well within the overall system architecture. You will mentor engineers, deep dive into technical problems, and provide leadership on complex technology issues, leading a team of Software Engineers (20-40 Engineers across 2-4 teams).
What You Offer
- Experience managing multiple software engineering teams
- Strong technical background (preferably Java based)
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at delivering complex engineering initiatives
- Product company experience with an understanding of how to build great products in an Agile environment
- Solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable and performant web applications
- Computer science education or equivalent experience
- Experience in Wealth Banking Software is valued.
