As part of our expanding Insurance team, we're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Account Executiveto support our clients by preparing accurate insurance quotations, managing policy documentation, and working closely with our sales team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client insurance schedules and policy documentation.
- Analyse current insurance arrangements and identify quoting opportunities.
- Prepare market submissions for insurers and underwriting agencies.
- Approach insurers to obtain competitive quotations and alternative coverage options.
- Follow up with insurers and underwriters to ensure timely quote delivery.
- Compare quotations and prepare clear coverage summaries.
- Review policy terms, endorsements, exclusions, and pricing structures.
- Negotiate with insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all market approaches and quotation activity.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurer representatives and underwriters.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the CRM and broker management system.
- Stay up to date with insurer guidelines, underwriting criteria, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experiencein insurance broking, underwriting, policy administration, or a similar insurance role.
- Experience preparing insurance quotations and policy documentation.
- Understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting principles.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to interpret insurer underwriting guidelines and policy wordings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Tier 1 or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
