The predicted salary is between 56700 - 69300 $ per year.
We are seeking an experienced leader to take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance activities across our Liebherr excavator fleet. This is a hands‐on supervisory position, responsible for driving safe, efficient and cost‐conscious maintenance outcomes while ensuring all reporting and documentation requirements are met.
You will play a key role in setting expectations on safety, performance and teamwork, while supporting fitters to deliver high‐quality maintenance and repair outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair activities to meet safety, budget and scheduling targets
- Provide visible leadership on the floor, setting the standard for safe work practices
- Ensure all maintenance work and daily activities are accurately documented and reported
- Build strong working relationships and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Identify opportunities for improvement and lead teams to develop and implement practical solutions
- Actively promote a strong and positive safety culture across the maintenance team
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience supervising Excavator Fitters, with strong exposure to Liebherr equipment highly advantageous
- A recognised trade qualification
- A proven track record of leading teams with a strong safety focus and positive safety outcomes
- Current Mining Supervisor competencies (G1, G8, G9) – formerly S1, S2, S3
- Current G2 – Carry out the Risk Management Process (RIIRIS402D)
- Current Standard 11 and valid Driver's Licence
