Join our Civil Operations team at the Mirani Depot in this Level 5 (Stream B) role. Operate plant and heavy rigid trucks, carry out pre-start checks and daily maintenance, and deliver roads, drainage and civil infrastructure works across the Mackay region.
You'll need:
- Plant operation and truck driving skills, plus roads and drainage maintenance or construction experience.
- A White Card, manual Queensland C class licence and Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, or interstate equivalents.
- A Certificate of Competency to operate road construction plant (such as skid steer, roller, loader or backhoe).
- Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) qualification, or the ability to obtain it within 12 months.
- A safety-first approach, a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Interstate licences must be transferred to Queensland within three months of commencement. A Certificate III in Civil Construction and experience in concrete works are desirable.
