The project: This is a complex, large scale, infrastructure programme in Sydney that will benefit the people and bring a positive impact to the community. Working with an amazing client and talented Mace team, this project will be of incredibly high-quality standards in a heavily regulated environment, suiting people with similar project experience that operate with the highest integrity and professionalism.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Bringing 10–15 years’ experience in cost estimating/quantity surveying across civils, structural, or MEP projects.
- Acting as the functional estimating lead within a client‑side integrated delivery team.
- Leading major infrastructure estimate development, reviewing contractor pricing, and shaping procurement and contract strategies.
- Delivering robust cost planning, final cost plans, valuations, and reporting for stakeholders.
- Managing design‑change cost impacts, contract administration, claims evaluation, and final accounts.
- Building strong internal/external relationships while driving team performance, continuous improvement, and carbon‑reduction goals.
You’ll need to have:
- 10–15 years’ experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying across civils, structural, MEP or building services.
- Functional Lead experience delivering estimating on a client‑side integrated team.
- Proven expertise in major infrastructure estimating, TOC development and contractor estimate reviews.
- Degree‑qualified, digitally competent, with strong commercial, contract and value‑engineering knowledge and MRICS/RICS preferred.
