Thiess is seeking experienced Digger Fitters to join our Gruyere Gold Mine Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster. Work on a fleet of CAT 6060 Shovels, Komatsu PC1250 and Liebherr 9600/9400/9200 excavators.

The Gold Fields Gruyere Gold Project is located within the Yamarna greenstone belt, approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia. We are privileged to work on the lands of the Yilka people and operate in close consultation with their community.
The Theiss mining operation at Gruyere delivers load and haul, drill and blast, crushing and screening, as well as LV/HV maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Australian RecognisedTrade Certificate (Mobile Plant Trade).
- HR Drivers Licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on open pit excavators
- Strong problem-solving ability including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across various fleets and machinery.
- Experience in an open pit mining environment.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Must present with a “Can Do” attitude to work and safety.
