M & Q Equipment are currently seeking an Industrial Spray Painter / Blaster to join our team. M & Q Equipment sell new and used mineral processing equipment. Our purpose built workshops are located in Richlands where all work is to be completed.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in operating abrasive blasting equipment.
Skilled in applying a variety of industrial coatings.
Forklift License is advantageous but not mandatory.
Valid Driver’s License is required for reliable transportation to work.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Conducting abrasive blasting and industrial 2 pack painting using a range of protective coating products.
Working alongside various team members
Ability to work independently, including interpreting painting product data sheets and material safety data sheets
Painting newly fabricated items like motor base, guards, columns, pump frame, pump covers and other general fabrications.
Performing blasting and recoating of refurbished mechanical equipment such as Gearboxes, Pumps, Crushers, Screens, Valves.
Successful candidate must be self motivated& be able to produce high quality workmanship.
