About this position

Senior Systems Engineer, Level 3.
This role can be based in
Newcastle, Tamworth or Sydney .
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced systems engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading projects, and mentoring others while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Design, deploy, and support enterprise infrastructure, cloud and security solutions for a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Lead solution design, implementation, and support for client infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity projects
- Manage technical project delivery, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and successful outcomes
- Provide Level 3 technical support and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure technical documentation, processes, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, services, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to Cloudwize's technical leadership.
Skills required
- Minimum 6 years' experience in IT systems engineering, preferably within an MSP or SME environment.
- Advanced expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, firewalls, virtualization, scripting, and IT security.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex IT infrastructure solutions.
- Strong project delivery skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time and within budget.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading technical team members.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
