LX Pantos is at the forefront of the worldwide logistics sector, providing total logistics services to about 1,000 customers in diverse industries such as electronics, machinery, chemicals, oil refining, and construction. As the business expands, LX Pantos Australia is looking for full-time, experienced professionals to handle daily activities related to freight forwarding, both export and import to and from Australia. This position requires a focused, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to work with internal and external customers in a third-party logistics environment.
This role is located in Newington NSW, with the main office just a 2-minute walk from the Newington Marketplace.
Ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, and/or logistics.
- Full working rights within Australia (overseas worker sponsorship will not be provided).
- Korean speaking ability preferred but not necessary.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Gather/collate shipping documents including import Customs clearance related documents, and work with Customs brokers/clients.
- Coordinate the management of shipments while working closely with overseas partners, service providers, and Australian & Global colleagues.
- Provide internal and external customers with regularly updated status of inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries.
- Escalate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle day-to-day operations including registration, invoicing, and all other operational duties for export/import operations.
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or operations with an International Freight Forwarder or Supply Chain.
- Excellent communication skills in both English (must) and Korean (preferred).
- A can-do attitude and punctuality.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of import/export/customs processes (training can be given during hand-over and as required).
- Proven communication skills both written and verbal.
- High to Intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision in a team environment of 10-20 members.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding National & State (NSW) holidays.
- Flexible hours and work from home arrangements can be made after the probation period.
