LVL80 NSW Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Rigger to join our NSW operations team.
This hands-on role is suited to a qualified rigger who enjoys working across varied construction projects and is confident undertaking safe rigging, installation and dismantling activities involving cranes, hoists and associated equipment.
About the Role
Working across our NSW projects, your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking rigging activities associated with the erection, installation, alteration and dismantling of cranes, hoists and associated equipment
- Selecting, inspecting and using rigging equipment in accordance with lift plans, procedures and site requirements
- Assisting with lifting operations, load movements and the safe positioning of equipment and materials
- Working safely at heights and within active construction environments
- Completing pre-start checks, equipment inspections and required site documentation
- Working closely with supervisors, crane crews, site teams and other LVL80 personnel
- Identifying hazards, following safe work procedures and contributing to site risk assessments
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety requirements and company procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Current High Risk Work Rigging Licence appropriate to the work performed
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Working at Heights competency
- Demonstrated experience in rigging within construction, cranes, hoists or similar environments
- Sound understanding of safe rigging practices, lifting equipment and load handling
- Ability to interpret lift plans, follow instructions and work effectively as part of a site-based team
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current driver’s licence
- Flexibility to work across various NSW project locations as required
- Experience with tower cranes, construction hoists or other specialist lifting equipment will be highly regarded, but the role is open to riggers with relevant transferable experience.
What We Offer
This is a full-time position with applicable allowances and employment conditions in accordance with the relevant LVL80 Enterprise Agreement. Classification and remuneration will be confirmed based on the position requirements and the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
