We're partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior mechanical engineer or existing associate looking to take on a leadership role across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial offices, retail developments, healthcare facilities, and education projects. You'll play a key role in project delivery, client management, team leadership, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project resourcing, commercial performance, and technical quality.
- Contribute to business development activities and help strengthen existing client relationships.
- Provide technical leadership across HVAC, ventilation, and sustainable building design solutions.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC and mechanical services design.
- Proven experience delivering commercial, retail, healthcare, and/or education projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and client-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
