Role: In this hands-on role, you'll manage the day-to-day maintenance of buildings, gardens, and grounds, ensuring everything is safe, tidy, and well-kept.
Key responsibilities include
- General maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens, and common areas
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaning
- Identifying and reporting new risks while working to minimise existing ones.
- Undertaking administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.
- Managing external contractors and minor building projects
- Using equipment and materials safely and responsibly
- Your work will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Gardening experience essential; aged care experience desirable
About You
- Experience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping within an aged care setting or a similar environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
- A team player with a proactive attitude, proven ability to demonstrate a customer service focus.
- Valid Police Checkand/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance(or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid open Queensland Driver's Licence
