St Peters Lutheran College is seeking to appoint a Primary Years Teacher Assistant - English as an Additional Language or Dialect Teacher (EALD), on a permanent part-time, term-time basis, located at our Indooroopilly School.
St Peters is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 52 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD. About the Role
- The purpose of this role is to assist in the maintenance of a supportive, safe and effective learning environment for students.
- The role requires the successful candidate to provide in-class and small group withdrawal support for identified EALD students, under the direction of the Primary Years EALD teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain materials to assist EALD students, under the direction of the Primary Years EALD Teacher
- Provide in-class and small group withdrawal support for identified EALD students, under the direction of the Primary Years EALD Teacher
What You Bring
- Applicants will require proven experience in a similar role, preferably with EALD students and a Certificate in Education or similar would be advantageous
