Summary:
Faith Lutheran College is seeking an outstanding educational leader to join our leadership team as Assistant Principal.
Location: 1-15 Beveridge Rd, Thornlands
Status: Full time | Maximum Term 3 Years
Salary: Senior Executive Level
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to support the College's vision, mission and strategic priorities.
- Support the Principal in the overall leadership, management and effective operation of the College.
- Lead, inspire and support teaching and learning practices that promote high-quality educational outcomes for all students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment that reflects the College's Christian values and Lutheran ethos.
- Provide leadership and oversight of student wellbeing, behaviour management and pastoral care initiatives.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior educational leadership role, such as Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, preferably within a Lutheran or other Christian educational setting, or equivalent leadership experience
- A demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing, pastoral care and the holistic development of young people.
- Highly developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead others.
- The ability to build positive and productive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider College community.
Eligibility and Safeguarding:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Applicants must be of the Lutheran faith or demonstrate a Christian faith background, with an understanding of and commitment to Christian values
