About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support the integration platform infrastructure of an Azure environment for a client in a regulated banking domain, with a focus on Salesforce and Mule Soft.

In this role you will operate and troubleshoot integration workloads, own CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting for both platforms, keep the connectors and integrations between Salesforce and other systems healthy, and help keep the environment secure, reliable, and well documented.

The focus is on platform and release operations rather than Salesforce development or administration.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Mule Soft platform operations.

Operate Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, including Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Cloud Hub or Runtime Fabric, and keep Mule applications deployed, configured, and healthy.

  • Salesforce release operations.

Own metadata deployments across sandboxes and production using tooling such as Salesforce CLI, Copado, or Gearset, and make Salesforce releases repeatable and safe to roll back.

  • CI/CD for both platforms.

Maintain the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that build and deploy Mule applications and Salesforce changes across environments.

  • Connector and integration infrastructure.

Keep connections between Mule Soft, Salesforce and other systems working: connected apps, OAuth credentials, certificates and renewals, IP allow-listing, API limits, and environment promotion.

  • Monitoring and alerting.

Put alerting in place for integration failures, latency, and expiring credentials using Anypoint Monitoring and Azure Monitor, so a failing connector is caught before the business notices.

  • Kubernetes in production.

Where integration workloads run on AKS (for example, Runtime Fabric), support deployments, ingress, and service discovery, and debug unhealthy pods and connectivity issues.

  • Runtime and application layer ownership.

Understand how each integration is packaged and run, including Java and Mule runtimes, dependencies, properties, secure configuration, certificates, and secrets in Azure Key Vault.

  • Vulnerability remediation.

Own scanner and penetration test findings on integration runtimes and hosts: upgrade Mule and Java runtimes, patch images, fix configurations, and track exceptions to closure.

  • Network collaboration and documentation.

Work with networking teams on what integrations need from the network (VNets, private endpoints, NSGs, firewall rules), and write runbooks for deployments, renewals, and recovery steps.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years hands-on in Azure.
  • Hands-on operational experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, including deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Mule applications in production.
  • Experience running Salesforce release pipelines with Salesforce CLI, Copado, Gearset, or similar, including sandbox management and environment promotion.
  • Working knowledge of how Salesforce integrations authenticate and connect, including connected apps, OAuth, certificates, and API limits.
  • Strong application layer knowledge: containers, Kubernetes, runtimes, dependencies, configuration, certificates, and secrets.
  • Experience running CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops Pipelines, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins with Maven) and building monitoring and alerting for production integrations.
  • Experience owning vulnerability remediation across runtimes, containers, and hosts, from finding to closure.
  • Working knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, private endpoints, and NSGs.
  • Strong documentation habits and the ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership.
  • Advanced English and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to engineers and client stakeholders in a distributed, remote team.
  • Nice to Have
  • Mule Soft certifications such as Mule Soft Certified Platform Architect or Mule Soft Certified Developer.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I.
  • Production experience with AKS or another Kubernetes platform, including Runtime Fabric deployments.
  • Experience with Azure API Management, Logic Apps or Service Bus.
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
  • Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
  • Why Lumenalta is an amazing place to work

At Lumenalta, you can expect that you will

  • Be 100% dedicated to one project at a time so that you can innovate and grow.
