We're looking for an experienced and motivated 4x4 Accessory Fitter, Mechanic, or Underbody Technician to join our busy workshop specializing in the installation of premium long-range fuel tanks. You'll work on a wide variety of vehicles, from brand new 4x4s to older models and fully customized touring vehicles, installing long range replacement and auxiliary fuel tanks, stainless steel water tanks, and carrying out repairs and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
- Install long range replacement and auxiliary fuel tanks
- Fit stainless steel water tanks
- Diagnose and carry out repairs and troubleshooting
- Assist with product development and prototype installations when required
- Provide customer support via phone and in person, including technical advice and troubleshooting
- Conduct vehicle handovers and explain completed installations to customers
- Assist with general workshop duties as required
- Exhaust modification and rework when required
About you
- At least 12 months' experience in a mechanical, automotive accessory fitting or similar automotive role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using workshop tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
