Our Client is a Procurement consultancy focussed on delivering a tailored approach to Diagnostics, Cost optimisation, Training and Development within businesses looking to drive better procurement performance!
They are currently partnering with a large Manufacturing business based just outside of Brisbane currently going through a cost optimisation process, who require support in executing a large number of sourcing processes across General Indirect categories.
ROLE
We are looking for multiple contractors who have experience in sourcing across a wide variety of Indirect categories with the focus being on good sourcing process knowledge and ability to be nimble. The main requirement will be to manage a high volume of processes across a broad range of contracts within the Indirects space mainly.
Specifically, you will:
- Run end to end sourcing events including market analysis, RFx documentation creation, evaluation, negotiation, selection and contract implementation
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the business is maximising value, not only through cost reduction, but also through new products and initiatives
- Work closely with client side stakeholders to bring them all together and understand their needs, take them on the journey and then show them the deliverable outcomes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
This will be a fast paced project and the people who will succeed in this environment are those who are able to act quickly, prioritise and have outcome driven mindsets.
Specifically we are looking for:
- 5+ years in a similar role within procurement with a focus on Indirects
- Experience in fast paced industries such as Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail or similar preferred
- Strong souring process knowledge from cradle to grave
- Good negotiation and communication skills
