We are launching a modern Australian telehealth platform and are seeking an experienced AHPRA-registered General Practitioner to join our clinical team.
The Role
- You will provide remote consultations to Australian patients through our telehealth platform.
- Our team handles the technology, website, patient acquisition, administration and operational infrastructure, allowing you to focus primarily on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth consultations with patients.
- Assess patients and determine appropriate treatment independently.
- Prescribe medication where clinically appropriate and legally permitted.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Provide referrals and follow-up recommendations where appropriate.
- Work in accordance with AHPRA, Medical Board of Australia and applicable prescribing requirements.
- Contribute to safe, patient-focused telehealth delivery.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA medical registration.
- Australian General Practitioner.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Strong understanding of Australian prescribing requirements.
- Comfortable conducting consultations remotely.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Telehealth experience preferred but not essential.
