Australian construction company is seeking a Project Manager for a $30m, seven storey social housing development in Brisbane.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a substantial project in Queensland, with a salary of $180,000-$200,000 plus superannuation, and sponsorship available for the right candidate.

The role:
- Lead the delivery of a seven storey social housing scheme.
- Take responsibility for the programme, site operations, quality and coordination of the wider project team.
- Work closely with the client, consultants, commercial team and subcontractors to keep the project moving from construction through to completion and handover.
- Make decisions, resolve challenges and set the standard on site.
- Maintain a focus on both the bigger picture and the details to spot issues early and keep delivery on track.
This project has a purpose; the homes delivered will make a difference to people in Brisbane.
Who we are looking for:
- Must come from a Tier 1 contractor in the UK and have delivered multi residential projects.
- Experience delivering apartment buildings or comparable multi storey residential schemes.
- Strong programme management and the ability to drive progress on site.
- Confidence managing site teams, subcontractors, consultants and client relationships.
- A sound understanding of budgets, procurement, variations and commercial priorities.
- High standards across safety, quality and handover.
- The ability to take ownership of a project and lead people through the challenges of delivery.
- Australian experience is not essential; we are looking for the right UK Tier 1 residential background.
