Customer Service/Administration Officer in Melbourne

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Customer Service / Administration Officer to join their growing team based at the Cheltenham Waste and Recycling Centre. You will play a key role in monitoring the Container Deposit Scheme.

Please note this a temporary position for three months with the opportunity for a permanent appointment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting members of the public to unload bottles and cans from car boots.
• Assisting with general inquiries.
• Process payments and refunds (EFTPOS & BPoint).
• Ensuring the correct products are deposited.
• Keeping the area clean and tidy.
• Other duties as requested.

About You

• Strong administration and customer service background.
• Confident with systems and quick to learn.
• Reliable, friendly, team-oriented and willing to help.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7.30 am – 4:00 pm and overtime every second Saturday 7.30 am to 4 pm.
