Commercial Finance & Admin Lead: AP/AR, Reporting in Melbourne

Logic Technologies is a growing business looking for an experienced Finance Manager & Administration Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting our continued growth. This is a hands-on finance role with a strong focus on AP/AR and finance administration, alongside financial reporting, analysis and commercial business partnering. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day finance function runs accurately and efficiently, while also providing the insights that help the business make better decisions.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Own and oversee AP & AR, including supplier payments, customer invoicing, collections and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and strong financial controls.
• Manage month-end processes, including P&L reporting, journals, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and budgets and provide clear commentary on performance.
• Analyse costs, opportunities and business performance, turning financial data into practical recommendations.
• Partner with operational and management teams to support commercial decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and cost control.
• Manage the administration and tracking of supplier/vendor rebates and incentive programs.
• Support audit requirements and broader finance and business administration as required.

About you:

You’re a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys getting into the detail but can also step back and understand the bigger picture and can confidently move between detailed financial analysis and high-level business conversations.

You’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualification.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong AP/AR and general finance administration experience.
• Solid month-end, reporting and reconciliation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
• The confidence to work with stakeholders across all levels and challenge the status quo when you see an opportunity to improve.
• Experience in a multi-site, distribution or growing business, along with process improvement or change management experience, would be highly regarded.
