About the Role
Local Workforce Hire is seeking an experienced Warehouse Superintendent to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team and ensure the efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‐on warehouse leader who understands operational efficiency, workplace safety, inventory management and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Lead, supervise and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
- Coordinate stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse organisation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Monitor productivity, identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate deliveries, dispatch schedules and transport requirements.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and operational reporting.
- Work closely with management and other departments to meet business requirements.
About You
- Previous experience managing or supervising warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
