About the Role
Local Workforce Hire is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Superintendent to oversee daily operations, lead a team and ensure the efficient production, movement, storage and dispatch of paper based items.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on LEAN Leader who understands the importance of leadership, operational efficiency, workplace safety, inventory management, team performance, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations.
- Lead, supervise and develop manufacturing staff to achieve operational targets.
- Coordinate stock production, control, inventory accuracy and warehouse organisation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Monitor productivity, identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Work closely with Executive management and other departments to meet business requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Three years of leadership manufacturing experience.
- Experience with LEAN, Agile or other quality improvement programs.
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A practical, hands‑on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
