We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Section Waiter to join our team at Local Flow Eatery in the vibrant suburb of Cotton Tree, QLD. As a Section Waiter, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous way
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised dining area
- Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system
- Responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns
- Supporting the team in other duties as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, ideally as a Section Waiter or server, with minimum 5 yrs experience in fine dining or similar venues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
