I'm currently recruiting for a Junior Site Manager to join an established commercial builder delivering projects across the education and multi-residential sectors in Victoria.
This opportunity would suit someone currently working as a Supervisor, Foreman or Junior Site Manager with a smaller Tier 3 / Tier 4 head contractor who is looking to take the next step in their career.
You'll work alongside an experienced Senior Site Manager, gaining exposure to larger and more complex projects while continuing to develop your site management skills.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior Site Manager on a $40m Commercial project, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities.
- Assisting with construction programming and managing site progress.
- Monitoring quality, safety and site compliance.
- Managing trades to ensure works are completed to programme.
- Assisting with site inspections and subcontractor coordination.
- Working closely with the project management team.
- Gradually taking on greater responsibility as your experience develops.

- What I'm Looking For
- Previous supervision experience on commercial construction projects is essential.
- Experience working for a Tier 3 / Tier 4 commercial head contractor.
- Exposure to projects valued between $1m and $15m.
- Experience delivering education, multi-residential or similar commercial builds from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor management.
- Someone who is hands‑on, organised and confident communicating with trades.
- Most importantly, someone who wants to learn from an experienced Senior Site Manager and progress their career.
This isn't a role for someone coming directly from residential housing. Previous commercial construction supervision experience is required.
