A Metropolitan WA hospital requires a Specialist in Paediatrics from 03/06/2026 to 31/08/2026.
ASAP from now until 31st August 2026.
Working hours:
Covering 0.9FTE which is rostered as 75% clinical 25% non clinical. Hours roughly 0800 to 1800 (generally Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
Weekday clinics:
6 patients per clinic – 2 new, 2 review, 2 phone calls.
On-Call:
These will either be an overnight on-call on weekday which is 1800-0800 or a weekend on-call which is 0800-0800. Note: there is always a minimum of a registrar and a resident on the floor during the on-call period.
Beds:
12 bed paediatric unit (no mental health or behavioural), 6 bed SCN (takes from 34 weeks and upwards).
The rate is $2500.00/day.
