Central WA hospital (Wheatbelt region) is looking for a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine. Position is Temporary.
Shift Schedule:
- JUNE 2026 – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
- Shifts suitable for – FACEM, SMO or SENIOR ED REG (PGY 6+)
- Wednesday 10: 2000 – 0830 + 40% loading
- Friday 12: 0800 – 1800 + on call + 25% loading
- Wednesday 17: 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
- Friday 19: 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
- Saturday 20: 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
- Sunday 21: 0800 – 1800 + on call OR 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
- Sunday 21: 1300 – 2300 FLOAT SHIFT
- Wednesday 24: 1030 – 2030 + on call

Located in the Wheatbelt region of WA, this town is home to a diverse range of tourist and heritage attractions and has approximately 12,193 residents. This hospital is equipped with 28 acute inpatient beds, 12 sub-acute inpatient beds and 22 same day beds.
Fuel reimbursed at 0.88 cents per KM from the doctor’s home to hospital, return (within WA). Flights & hire car will be considered on a case by case basis (minimum number of shifts required depending on urgency). Hospital meals and accommodation provided.
