The Role
As Village Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the village while creating a welcoming, connected and well-run environment.
Working closely with the broader Living Choice team, you’ll provide strong leadership and help establish the sense of belonging that will define Living Choice Galston.
What You’ll Do
Lead the day-to-day operation of the village
Support resident needs, engagement and community connection
Lead and coordinate village staff and contractors
Oversee administration, accounts, budgets and resources
Maintain high standards across buildings, grounds and facilities
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies and WHS requirements
Support accreditation and continuous improvement
Build relationships with local organisations, service providers and community stakeholders
Support sales, marketing and resident activities as required
About You
You’re an approachable, capable leader who enjoys working with people and creating a welcoming environment.
Experience in retirement living, property or facilities management would provide a strong foundation for this role.
You’ll ideally bring:
Previous leadership or team management experience
Strong communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
Genuine empathy and respect for older Australians
Strong organisation, problem-solving skills and initiative
Financial awareness, including budgeting and resource management
Knowledge of retirement village legislation and compliance, or a willingness to learn
Diploma of Village Management, or willingness to obtain
First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain
