About the Opportunity
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join our Finance team and play an important role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly.
This is a broad and hands‑on role that goes well beyond processing invoices. Working closely with our Financial Controller, you'll have exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, , reconciliations, general ledger, month‑end and financial reporting.

We're ideally looking for someone with solid experience in a similar Finance or Accounts role. However, we're also open to someone who is currently studying Accounting at university and has some practical experience, who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is full time, supporting the team during maternity leave coverage.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days will necessarily look the same. You'll play an important role across the Finance function, including:
Managing accounts receivable, including payment allocations, reconciliations, unapplied cash management and resolving discrepancies
Processing invoices and payments and accurately and on time
Maintaining accurate financial and records
Supporting general ledger, month‑end and year‑end processes
Assisting with financial reporting, BAS, payroll tax and other statutory requirements
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and system implementation (such as supporting automation initiatives)
Providing support to the broader Finance team as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in getting the details right.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who:
Has solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial processing
Has experience across accounts payable and accounts receivable
Is proactive, adaptable, takes ownership and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work
Has a can‑do attitude and willingness to be across every finance function
Has strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience in a high‑volume transaction processing environment
Has experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Xero or similar
Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Is comfortable identifying issues and finding solutions
Communicates clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders
Understands the importance of confidentiality when dealing with financial and employee information
Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive team environment
Is keen to learn, develop and take ownership of their work
