This is an exciting opportunity to join the passionate and dedicated team at Little World Early Learning Centre as a Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher, working 3 days a week. Located in Worongary, QLD, this role will see you play a vital part in shaping the early learning and development of our youngest community members.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based educational programs that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Implement the approved learning framework to support children's holistic development across all areas.
- Develop and maintain positive, nurturing relationships with children, families and the wider community.
- Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, providing regular feedback to families.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that adheres to all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Collaborate with the educational team to continuously improve practice and enhance outcomes for children.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing engaging, play-based educational programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
