Artisanal Baker – Little Sister Bakery in Melbourne

Little Sister is a growing artisanal bakery producing handcrafted breads, pastries, and baked goods fresh every day across our multiple retail stores and wholesale operation.

We are currently looking for a passionate and reliable Baker to join our production team in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

About the Role

• Mixing, shaping, baking, and preparing artisan breads and bakery products
• Working with fresh doughs and high-quality ingredients
• Following production schedules and recipes with consistency and care
• Experience working with commercial bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and other production equipment.
• Taking responsibility and ownership of your products from preparation through to completion
• Working closely with the team to ensure production runs smoothly and to a high standard
• Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and production standards
• Early morning and weekend availability required

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in a production baking environment (essential)
• Passion for artisan baking and quality products
• Someone who takes pride in their work and cares about the end product
• Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Willingness to take responsibility for your work and contribute positively to the wider team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the business
