The Little Feet ELC Double Bay team is growing! Our 52-place centre is spread across three classrooms (Nursery, Toddler and Preschool). We celebrated our 2nd birthday this year and look forward to welcoming someone new to our team. We have a beautiful 12 place Nursery with a separate cot room, featuring sliding doors opening to an undercover playground. This yard is exclusively for our Nursery children, and you’ll instantly feel welcome in this ground floor classroom.
You will be working alongside three Diploma Qualified Educators who have been in our Nursery since we opened.
Position: Full-time Co-Educator in our Nursery room, starting January 4th. The position will begin straight in the Nursery, or for those starting in October/November, it will be a float position to get to know the centre team and children before transitioning to full-time Nursery from January. Hours are 4 long days - 38-hour week, with a Weekly RDO (either Tuesday, Thursday or Friday). MUST be able to work full-time hours, with no VISA restrictions.
Centre times: Centre opens from 7.10am and closes at 5.50pm. Shift will likely be from 7.45am to 5.45pm, 4 days a week.
We are looking for an Educator with experience in an early learning centre, preferably with children under 2 years old. We are not currently seeking Educators studying their ECT degree or those who hold an ECT or Graduate Diploma.
Requirements:
- Cert 3 or Diploma (or working towards)
- CPR & First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check and Child Protections Certificates (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references
