Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader
This is a wonderful opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher who enjoys supporting educators, sharing their knowledge and helping create a strong culture of learning and professional practice. You will work 1 day per week within the centre in the role of Educational Leader.
Key responsibilities
Lead and support the educational program and practice
Mentor and guide educators in their planning, documentation and pedagogy
Support the team to deliver meaningful, play-based learning experiences
Help ensure the curriculum reflects the EYLF and the individual needs of children
Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and ongoing continuous improvement
Encourage reflection, professional growth and consistency across the team
Build positive relationships with children, families and educators
About you
Qualified Early Childhood Teacher, OR hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and are currently studying your ECT qualification, with 50% or more of your course completed
Passionate about creating high-quality learning experiences for children
Enjoy mentoring, supporting and working alongside educators
Good understanding of the EYLF and contemporary early childhood practice
Confident, approachable and organised
Genuine passion for helping educators grow and develop
