In this role, you will:
- Lead and support a team of 5+ import operators day to day
- Do P&L reporting and ensure job profitability
- Train the local & overseas back-office team
- Manage end-to-end import shipments across air and sea freight
- Own a dedicated portfolio of clients as their key operational contact
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and service providers
- Prepare documentation for customs clearance and biosecurity requirements
To be successful, you have:
- 3+ years of import operations (sea & air) experience in freight forwarding
- Prior team lead/supervisory experience is an advantage, but not a dealbreaker
- Mandarin skills to liaise with overseas agents & clients
