LINK Community & Transport is seeking an accomplished Workforce, Safety & Capability Manager to lead and shape our approach to people, culture, safety and organisational capability. Reporting directly to the CEO and contributing as a member of the Leadership Team, this is an influential role with the opportunity to shape LINK’s workforce strategy, strengthen leadership capability and build contemporary people and safety practices that support organisational performance and future growth.

The role involves providing leadership across three integrated portfolios:

  • Workforce, Employment & Culture: workforce strategy and planning, organisational development, employee relations, performance, engagement and workforce governance.
  • Safety, Wellbeing & Return to Work: OHS, psychosocial safety, wellbeing, injury management and return-to-work frameworks.
  • Learning, Development & Organisational Capability: leadership development, organisational learning, performance and development, mandatory learning and competency.

Volunteers are central to LINK’s service model. While the Volunteer Services & Communications Manager leads the volunteer function and volunteer experience, this role works closely with that portfolio to ensure volunteers are supported by strong organisational frameworks for safety, wellbeing, learning, development and confidence in their roles.

Working closely with the CEO and leaders across LINK, you will provide trusted advice and constructive challenge, strengthen management capability and accountability, and translate workforce and safety priorities into practical organisational outcomes.

About you: You will be an experienced senior HR, People & Culture or workforce professional with the judgement and credibility to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels. You will bring strong capability across employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, organisational development, OHS and psychosocial safety, leadership development and organisational capability. You will be commercially and organisationally astute, pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the confidence to navigate complex matters, influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships across the organisation. Experience within community services, aged care, disability, not-for-profit or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.

Why LINK? For more than 30 years, LINK has supported people to maintain their independence, remain connected and participate in their communities. This role offers direct access to the CEO, a seat at the Leadership Team table and genuine scope to shape LINK’s workforce, safety and capability agenda. For the right person, it is an opportunity to build contemporary frameworks, influence organisational culture, strengthen leadership and make a visible contribution to an organisation with a strong community purpose.

If you are an experienced people leader seeking purpose, influence and the opportunity to shape organisational capability, we would welcome your application. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest and relevant experience. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
