We are currently seeking a Production staff member to work in our Darwin plant at Bishop Street Woolner. As a Laundry Worker, you are a key member of our Team and will be responsible for processing and cleaning linen to a high standard for our customers in the essential services of Healthcare and Aged Care together with the Hospitality and Accommodation Sectors.
This position involves various duties in our production team including:
- Sorting through soiled and dirty linen from hospitals, restaurants, aged care facilities
- Processing of linen
- Fast paced production work
- Machine Operating
- Labour intensive work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Following safe work procedures
- Willingness to be part of our safety culture
- Good Fitness Level with the ability to lift 5kg - 15kg repetitively
- Flexibility with weekly shifts
- Team player comfortable working in a multicultural workforce
- Ability to read and understand instructions and apply the information to your work
