The Opportunity
Linea Talent is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to grow the Gold Coast portfolio of an established accommodation and short-term rental operator.
This opportunity would suit a real estate BDM, property professional or accommodation specialist who enjoys winning business and building lasting relationships.
You’ll connect with owners, investors, developers and referral partners, showing how tailored accommodation strategies can unlock the potential of their properties. Your focus will be on securing new management agreements, with an experienced operations team supporting onboarding and ongoing property management.
The Role
- Identify and secure new holiday homes and short-term rental management opportunities across the Gold Coast.
- Build referral relationships with sales agents, developers, buyers’ agents and other property professionals.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals and local market activity.
- Conduct property appraisals and present income projections supported by market data.
- Tailor proposals to owners’ investment goals, negotiate terms and secure management agreements.
- Explore opportunities across holiday, corporate, insurance and extended-stay accommodation.
- Maintain your pipeline and coordinate a smooth handover to the operations team.
About You
You bring experience in business development, property, real estate, accommodation or a related sales role, along with the confidence to prospect, present and close.
- A track record of winning business and developing referral relationships.
- A commercial approach and the ability to explain investment opportunities clearly.
- Strong organisation, CRM skills and ownership of your pipeline.
- A current driver licence and reliable vehicle.
- Gold Coast property knowledge and local connections, highly regarded.
