What You'll Do
- Driving the Tug around the depot to hook and unhook trailers
- Reversing B-Doubles and Singles in the yard
- Drive refrigerated vehicles delivering fresh, chilled & general freight across Mareeba and surrounding areas
- Ensure freight is delivered safely, on time, and at the right temperature
- Use in-cab tech to scan freight & record deliveries
- Complete pre-starts and daily safety checks
- Follow road laws and safety procedures
- Work with loaders & depot teams to get the job done
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Operate in a safety-first environment
What You'll Bring
- Current MC licence
- Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro delivery experience is a bonus)
- Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
- A safe driving record (current driving history report required)
- A strong focus on safety and doing the job properly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work
