About the Role
Working at a CNS2 level, you will provide advanced mental health nursing care, supporting individuals with complex mental health presentations.
- Conducting advanced mental health assessments and risk assessments.
- Developing and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions and care plans.
- Coordinating care for individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing clinical support and contributing to high-quality patient care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and effective communication with stakeholders.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant Mental Health nursing qualifications and/or substantial mental health nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex mental health presentations.
- Strong clinical assessment, risk assessment and care coordination skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a correctional health environment.
- Excellent communication, documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet relevant security clearance requirements.
