Key responsibilities
- Leading and developing administrative, operational and customer-facing teams
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical practice
- Working closely with pharmacy leadership to ensure smooth operations across the complete patient journey
- Workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation
- Recruitment, onboarding and performance management
- Payroll oversight and coordination
- Establishing clear KPIs and accountability across the team
- Monitoring operational performance and reporting to the founders
- Improving workflows across the patient journey
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical solutions
About you
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred, particularly within medical practices, specialist clinics, pharmacy, allied health, dental or another regulated healthcare environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead people, create structure, solve problems and make a healthcare business run exceptionally well
- Exceptionally organised
- Takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
- Confident leading people and having difficult conversations when required
- Understands workforce planning, rostering and payroll
- Comfortable managing performance and holding people accountable
- Thinks commercially and understands the importance of operational KPIs
- Can identify inefficiencies and actually fix them
- Process-driven without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
