Lifeline Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join their team in Romsey, VIC. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients within our medical practice. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health assessments, administering medication, coordinating referrals and follow-ups.
- Assisting with the management of chronic conditions and the implementation of treatment plans.
- Providing health education and promoting preventative care to patients.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical practice protocols.
- Collaborating with the medical team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
- Undertaking a range of administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice.
What we're looking for:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including experience in health assessments, wound management, and medication administration.
- Immunisation administration experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in using medical software and technology to support patient care.
- Experience with Best Practice medical software system is preferred.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and a genuine interest in contributing to the overall wellbeing of the community.
