About Life Medical Imaging
Life Medical Imaging is an independent, privately owned radiology practice with four clinics on the Central Coast. We’re opening two more in Gosford and Woy Woy.
Our new Gosford flagship will bring together the Siemens MAGNETOM Free.XL MRI, NAEOTOM Alpha photon-counting CT and Biograph Trinion PET/CT. For the right radiographer, this is a chance to help build a new MRI service within a growing local practice.
The role
You’ll lead the clinical setup and day-to-day delivery of MRI across the two new sites. Working with our radiologists and wider imaging team, you’ll develop protocols, establish safe and consistent MRI practices, train and support other radiographers, and help the service grow. This is a hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys scanning and patient care as much as they enjoy improving how a service operates.
About you
You’ll bring:
- Strong MRI experience, ideally with senior or lead responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of MRI safety, protocols and image quality
- The ability to train and support other radiographers
- A calm, patient-focused approach
- Current registration as a diagnostic radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- ASMIRT MRI Level 1 or Level 2 certification, or equivalent MRI training and experience, would be highly regarded.
- You’ll also need a NSW Radiation User Licence, or eligibility to obtain or have an interstate licence recognised, if your duties involve regulated radiation equipment.
- A National Police Check and Working With Children Check are required.
