LHP Landscaping + Joel Irrigation | Perth metro, based Gosnells
$110,000–$120,000 base + super | Full time | Monday to Friday | No FIFO
LHP Landscaping + Joel Irrigation has built commercial landscapes in Perth for over 30 years — public open space, schools, TAFEs, retirement villages and apartment developments for councils, developers and builders. We're owner-run and growing, and we need a supervisor who can take a commercial job from handover to handback.
You'll be the person who turns the plans into the finished site.
What you'll do
- Take ownership of commercial landscape projects once they're won and quoted — from procurement handover through to practical completion
- Read and manage commercial landscape plans, specs and drawings end to end — pick up the clashes before they cost money
- Work with procurement on purchase orders, suppliers and delivery scheduling so materials land when the program needs them
- Coordinate subcontractors and our own crews on site — sequencing, daily direction, pushing the program
- Own quality and safety: hold the work to spec, run SWMS, inductions, toolbox talks and site diaries
- Day-to-day contact for the builder's site team and the client; report progress and variations to the owners weekly
What you'll bring
- Supervisory experience in commercial landscape construction with an established commercial contractor — you've run jobs for builders and developers, not just homeowners
- Can read a landscape plan, a civil drawing and a spec, and run a job from them without being walked through it
- Have run purchase orders and supplier scheduling, and led subbies and crews on live construction sites
- Practical WHS knowledge on construction sites — SWMS, inductions, high-risk work
- Straight-talking, organised, and calm when the program moves. Cert III/IV or trade background well regarded; experience counts for more
- Commercial landscape construction supervisory experience
- White Card
- Manual driver's licence (MR/HR an advantage)
What's on offer
- $110,000–$120,000 base + super, depending on experience
- Full-time permanent, Monday to Friday — home every night, no FIFO
- Work vehicle, fuel card and phone
- A pipeline of commercial projects already won, and owners who make decisions quickly — you'll deal directly with the owners
