We have exciting opportunities available for an experienced Perioperative/Recovery Registered Nurse to join our Sydney team.
As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Doctors to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.
About the role
As a Perioperative/Recovery Registered Nurse at Levant Cosmetic Surgery, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs for each individual patient under your care.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake day surgery RN duties including admissions, anaesthetic, recovery, post operative care, scrub and scout.
- Provide patients with exceptional and compassionate care and support, delivering clear and concise information when required.
- Respond to queries from patients and family members, appropriately escalating when needed.
- Continually review work methods and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and decision-making.
- Assisting on surgical bookings/enquiries.
About you
- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA and minimum 2 years recovery and perioperative nursing experience.
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration.
- Competency with airway management skills is essential.
- ALS current competency is desirable.
- Commitment to delivering best practice patient care.
- Passion for patient care.
- Good organization skills and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be fully vaccinated as per the NSW Government mandate for workers in a healthcare setting.
Salary will be based on experience. Applicants without a minimum two-year perioperative/recovery experience as a Registered Nurse will not be considered. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
